How to Lose Weight
Weight loss is a reduction of the total body mass due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose
tissue and/or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective
tissue. There are unintentional weight loss and intentional weight loss. Unintentional weight loss usually
happens because of disease and special condition.
Intentional weight loss happens when you have the effort to improve fitness and health, or change
appearance. There are several ways to intentionally lose your weight. First, there is exercise.
Physicians usually recommend it accompanied by diet. Other method of weight lose is using drugs and
supplements as in weight lose pills. Those drugs can decrease appetite, block fat absorption, or reduce
stomach value. You need permission from a doctor to use these drugs.
Some people choose surgery as their option to lose weight. It may be used in some severe case to
artificially reduce the size of the stomach. It can be dangerous so it has to be done carefully by certified
doctors. There is a unique method called virtual gastric band. It us hypnosis to make the brain think
that the stomach is smaller than it really is so it only can digest small amount of food. It works for some
people.
